About ProtectRESP
ProtectRESP is a Non-Stock, Non-Profit, Non-Governmental professional organization composed of real estate service practitioners whose main purpose is to PROTECT Public Interests in real estate, PROMOTE and EMPOWER the Welfare and Interests of the real estate service practitioners by streamlining, harmonizing and amending ALL laws directly affecting the real estate service profession.
Eligible Regular Members are PRC Licensed real estate service professionals (Real Estate Consultants, Real Estate Appraisers, Real Estate Brokers).
Eligible Associate Members are “Real Estate Accredited Salespersons” and “Candidate Associate Member Trainees”.
ProtectRESP aims to train and enhance the educational capabilities of non-collegiate students graduates and make them eligible to be accredited as salespersons and/or be eligible for PRC Licensure Examinations under the PRC and the DHSUD through collaborative efforts between DECS, CHED and the TLRC. They shall be classified as “Candidate Associate Member Trainees”. This shall be possible through Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation (ETEEAP) under CHED and training to be co-undertaken with the TESDA.
The ETEEAP is a comprehensive educational assessment program at the tertiary level that recognizes, accredits and gives equivalencies to knowledge, skills, attitudes and values gained by individuals from relevant work. It is implemented through deputized higher education institutions that shall award the appropriate college degree.
